I’m Shelby Bell and this website is dedicated to providing information and a forum for discussion on fitness, nutrition, and family health, especially when a family is faced with significant loss, as in the case of a divorce or death of a loved one.
Who I am
- First of all, I am a health advocate. I want to help you leverage opportunities to be healthy and happy.
- I am a Yoga Instructor and also have certifications as a Master Personal Fitness Trainer, Sports Nutrition Consultant, and Group Power Instructor.
- I served in the Army for 21 years, where I led physical training sessions on a daily basis, including a special series for pregnant soldiers.
- I have always enjoyed topics surrounding health and fitness, but I developed a strong passion when my marriage of 24 years fell apart and I strove to maintain a happy, healthy home for my children and myself. I struggled to find useful information on navigating the process and maintaining a positive attitude and found it difficult to find unbiased, helpful information. My children and I eventually made it through the difficult times, and I want to share some of the knowledge I gained along the way.
